“ Classic Romanian cuisine. The food: was good and expected. I started with "salată de vinete", eggplant dip, the Romanian version of baba ganouch or melizanosalata. It was creamy maybe a bit too creamy for my taste. I then had a "ciorbă de lobodă", a vegetable soup that was served with the customary green chili. It was piping hot which I loved but I couldn't feel the taste of borş, I would've liked it a bit more sour. I finished with "limbă cu măsline", beef tongue with olives. Good, solid taste and meat melted in your mouth. A little salt would have made it even better! The atmosphere: great outdoors terrace with great service. If you want classic Romanian food this is the place!! Far better then all tourist traps in Lipscani! ”

Various "special" dishes, including pork meat, bone marrow, brain, etc. We waited a bit long for the food because the place was full but the food was really good. Beautiful decor. “ Nice traditional restaurant with a wide-ranging menu including offal dishes. The tripe soup was a huge serving, maybe even a little too much, but tasted nice. The bull testes in wine reduction were great and unique. My total for 2 courses, wine, soda water and bread with 10% service charge included was exactly 100RON. A large section of the restaurant seemed to be closed off, so arrive around 7 or after 8 if you don't want to make a reservation. ”

Here you may find real authentic Romanian cuisine and some signature dishes that are really hard to find in other places. “ A traditional Romanian restaurant established almost 50 years ago (1976). We went there especially because I wanted to try the nettle stew . Never had one before and I was curious. All dishes were good. We tried the fish platter, tripe soup, parfait and the house chocolate cake. The house cake wasn't particular to my liking but I believe a lot of people might enjoy it. The parfait was very good though. Staff is very responsive. In the weekend the place is very busy so a reservation is mandatory. Prices are low. ”

“ WOWOWOW! My dad and I decided to go to this restaurant out of a gut feeling. We really liked the ambiance and found the staff to be super friendly and welcoming. They offered the most delicious food and such nice vibes - we loved the jazz music, the piano, and all of the nice wall art. Such a fancy place but not expensive at all! We loved it and will definitely be back the next time we go to Bucaresti!!!! Bravo ”
